In a city that rarely stops moving, The Comma invites you to pause.
Inspired by the punctuation mark — the simple act of pausing — this urban plaza transforms a commercial building into a social experience.
Drawing from the client’s brand identity, the “comma” evolves beyond a graphic element into a metaphor. The plaza translates the ‘comma’ into a living design of curves, forms shaping seating. It allows the people to slow down, observe, and reconnect.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Rooted in environmental psychology, the design focuses on emotional resonance and comfort. Designed for all ages, the plaza blends movement and stillness to a space to observe, interact, and breathe between the rush of everyday life. It’s a quiet seat, a playful pathway for children and a cozy nook for the dogs.

The design emerged from the first encounter on-site where the brand’s visual identity evoked a strong emotional cue. We saw the comma not as a pause to stop, but as a moment to feel alive again.
